Lifting rigger wanted in De Soto Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in De Soto Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces You will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; read lift plans and method statements before starting; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
