Urgent requirement: domestic gas engineer (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Rusk County, Texas. Day to day you will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points. Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Driving licence for travel between sites • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
