Tyre fitter — Portage County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tyre fitter in Portage County, Ohio. You will be based at a car service centre. Day-to-day duties: • Remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors You should have: • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets Six days a week, one day off.
