Great opportunity: we are hiring a construction helper in Crowley County, Colorado. The job is on a metro and infrastructure project. Your main tasks: • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer You should have: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions 6+ years on the tools preferred.
