Now hiring: steel fixer (Montana)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixer in Rosebud County, Montana. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Full-time, day shift.
