Turning centre operator • Allendale County, South Carolina

Immediate opening: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Allendale County, South Carolina. Day to day you will set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand. What we are looking for: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T 2+ years on the tools preferred.
