Bar bender and fixer • Simpson County, Mississippi

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Simpson County, Mississippi. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements On the job you will handle: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift Full-time, day shift. Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
