Join our team: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Cumberland County, Maine. On a typical shift you will load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; grind back and re-weld any defective runs. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
