Garment presser — Vermilion Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a garment presser in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases On a typical shift you will press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure.
