Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Barnwell County, South Carolina. You will be based in a metal finishing workshop. The role involves record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time. Requirements: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
