Fabricator-welder — Preston County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Preston County, West Virginia. The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium 3+ years on the tools preferred.
