Sheet metal press operator wanted in Schoharie County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Schoharie County, New York. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. You should have: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards You will apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses.
