Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep The role involves clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts.
