Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Ekwusigo, Anambra State. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Read lift plans and method statements before starting Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
