Requirements: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone The role involves: • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
