Join our team: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Lincoln County, Kansas. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • A good head for heights for tower crane work Full-time with occasional weekends.
