Meat trimmer — Lawrence County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. You will work in a hotel or restaurant butchery. Day to day you will run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts. You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
