Vacancy available: we are hiring a counter butcher in Jackson County, South Dakota. Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Season and marinate meat on request You should have: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • 2+ years experience working as a butcher We offer $28 per hour plus benefits.
