Site safety steward • Ripley County, Indiana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site safety steward in Ripley County, Indiana. You will work at an oil and gas facility. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot On the job you will handle: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
