Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Kane County, Illinois. You will be based on an industrial construction site. The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience.
