Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in Butler County, Nebraska. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Day to day you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
