Immediate opening: we are hiring a stitching operator in Shetland Islands, Scotland. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. You will meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
