Pipe TIG welder wanted in Iron County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Iron County, Utah. You will work on a structural steel site. Day-to-day duties: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Six days a week, one day off. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
