360 excavator operator — Clarke County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a 360 excavator operator in Clarke County, Alabama. The job is at a road and highway construction project. On a typical shift you will work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels. You should have: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
