Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Box Butte County, Nebraska. You will be based at a food processing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge You should have: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Part-time with flexible hours.
