Sewing machine operator wanted in Oregon County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Oregon County, Missouri. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. Day-to-day duties: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required You should have: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $260 per day, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
