Immediate opening: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Modoc County, California. You will torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters. You should have: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience.
