Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Ozark County, Missouri. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Six days a week, one day off.
