Pipe tig welder — Hardee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Hardee County, Florida. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Own basic hand tools and PPE 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
