Steel erection rigger — Kanawha County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Kanawha County, West Virginia. Your main tasks: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $11,250 per project plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
