Vacancy available: gtaw welder (Oyo State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Orelope, Oyo State. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. On a typical shift you will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Six days a week, one day off.
