Rigging foreman • Siskiyou County, California

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Siskiyou County, California. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. You should have: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket On the job you will handle: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists Full-time with occasional weekends.
