Vertical milling machine operator • McLeod County, Minnesota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in McLeod County, Minnesota. You will be based at a busy machine shop. You should have: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Day to day you will mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
