Steel erection rigger wanted in Perry County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Perry County, Alabama. You will work at a busy construction site. You should have: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams On a typical shift you will read lift plans and method statements before starting; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks.
