Gtaw welder wanted in Chester County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Chester County, South Carolina. You will work on an industrial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Part-time with flexible hours.
