Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tile setter in Ellis County, Oklahoma. You will work in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. On the job you will handle: • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits Requirements: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
