Fabricator-welder wanted in Redcar and Cleveland

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Redcar and Cleveland, England. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. The role involves set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances £13 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
