We are recruiting: banksman (Kentucky)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a banksman in Clark County, Kentucky. You will be based at a power plant. Day to day you will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
