Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Vernon Parish, Louisiana. Day-to-day duties: • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle You should have: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
