Immediate opening: tig welder (Arizona)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Pinal County, Arizona. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium On the job you will handle: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
