Requirements: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Able to read isometric and site drawings The role involves purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply.
