Vertical transportation technician wanted in Morgan County

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Morgan County, Illinois. You will work at a busy lift company. Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Day to day you will top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
