Steel fixer — Dougherty County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel fixer in Dougherty County, Georgia. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. The role involves assemble column and beam cages on the bench; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
