Paint and prep technician • Allamakee County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Allamakee County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying Ideal candidate: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
