Stainless steel welder • Greer County, Oklahoma

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Greer County, Oklahoma. Day-to-day duties: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 6+ years on the tools preferred.
