GTAW welder — Cardiff

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Cardiff, Wales. On the job you will handle: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. £2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
