Now hiring: we are hiring a chef de partie in Jim Hogg County, Texas. Day to day you will follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
