Domestic gas engineer wanted in Greene County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Greene County, Indiana. Day to day you will connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply. Requirements: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing 6+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
