Trowel-trade bricklayer • Lauderdale County, Mississippi

Great opportunity: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Lauderdale County, Mississippi. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. Day-to-day duties: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Part-time with flexible hours.
