Vacancy available: GMAW welder (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Jackson County, North Carolina. Your main tasks: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test 2+ years on the tools preferred.
